  2. Capsicum: whether red, green, or yellow, capsicums contribute only 30 calories in a one cup serving. They also assist greatly in meeting your vitamin C requirements. Capsicums provide more than 100% of your daily vitamin C dose in just one medium capsicum.
  3. Broccoli: as you would expect, this fibre rich vegetable is only 31 calories per cup. It also contains vitamin C, K and antioxidants.
  4. Cabbage: this delicious vegetable is extremely versatile in the kitchen (think coleslaw, salads, sandwiches, or sautéed) and only 18 calories per cup.
  5. Cauliflower: this superstar vegetable has been the trend setter for replacing things like rice, pizza crust and pasta. It comes in at 27 calories per cup.
