Bucket list ideas

 

There were a lot of travel related bucket list items:

  • Visit Bucharest
  • Visit the Louvre
  • Visit Monet’s Garden
  • Visit Singapore
  • Visit New Zealand
  • Tour Scotland, Wales and Ireland
  • Cruise from Norway to Iceland and see the great rift zone
  • Complete the Bondi to Manly Walk
  • Revisit the Newer Volcanic Province of Western Victoria with my grandchildren
  • Do a river cruise
  • Cycle Tasmania
  • Ski in New Zealand
  • Visit the Kimberley’s
  • Explore Australia by train
  • See the Aurora lights in the Norwegian Fjords
  • Travel the Rocky Mountain train and sing John Denver’s song
  • Walk the Camino de Santiago
  • Visit Antarctica to see Wildlife by saving $50 per week for 5 years
  • Stand in awe of Vincent van Gogh’s paintings in Amsterdam at the Van Gogh Gallery
  • Travel to Tasmania, visit National parks, Mona (Art Museum) and Cadbury chocolate factory.

 

These exciting activities are all great for bucket lists:

  • Exercise more for health and weight
  • Walk 10km daily, map the kms from home to Mildura, then visit Mildura
  • Take my granddaughters to London Zoo
  • Travel to Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to see 50th anniversary of Cold Chisel live
  • Return to volunteering as a Community Board Member
  • Sail through Sydney Heads
  • Join a gym and get better/fitter from my cancer
  • Swim with dolphins
  • BBQ in the bush with my sisters
  • See performer Andre Rieu in concert in his hometown of Maastricht, Netherlands
  • Ride in a hot air balloon.

 

Learning new skills such as these:

  • Pursue my business idea
  • Live in the south of France for 3 months and learn conversational French
  • Learn to speak Italian
  • Learn about Buddhism
  • Learn to play keyboard
  • Learn to speak Spanish
  • Learn to ride a motor bike
  • Complete a death doulas course.

 

Not to mention these family and community activities:

  • Help my two sons with their mortgages
  • Spend more time with my partner, once he retires
  • Educate my community with toilet door posters on domestic violence
  • Create a sanctuary for unwanted cats, where they cannot affect the native flora and fauna and be protected and cared for humanely
  • Become more active and productive in my community.
